Melancholy Jester - print is a multi-colored expression of the exhaustion of performance at the expense of being happy. The jester character is at the center of the painting with a sad expression and bright contrasting makeup which represents having to put on a mask regardless of your internal feelings. Surrounded by a darkened circle, like a window, separating the jester from the yellow and orange blended background with highlighted white and black whimsical shapes and pink floral accents, encapsulating the world around them. This print is of the acrylic painting above which was created by me in 2023.
