Melancholy Jester - print is a multi-colored expression of the exhaustion of performance at the expense of being happy. The jester character is at the center of the painting with a sad expression and bright contrasting makeup which represents having to put on a mask regardless of your internal feelings. Surrounded by a darkened circle, like a window, separating the jester from the yellow and orange blended background with highlighted white and black whimsical shapes and pink floral accents, encapsulating the world around them.
